receive, proofread, track and deliver your documents back to you quickly.

A
Word on MS Word
Unlike what you have with your word-processing software,
our human system works very well. If you think you can rely
on MS Word's grammar and spell checkers, just type the following
into a Word document: The

quickly.
Even
though Word's grammar checker is perhaps the most expensively
developed component of the product, it cannot spot those errors!

We apply special skills and rules developed over many years to the

- You
submit your work for proofreading.
(Demo) You
use our Web site's browser to upload your file. You choose the level
of editing, turnaround time, and genre (general, medical, legal,
financial, or engineering). The file is securely encrypted and transmitted
to our ultra-safe server, where it is processed by our proprietary
copyediting engine.
- Two
of our copyediting experts immediately begin processing your document
as if it were a dirty car going into a carwash. When
we're done, the document is sparkling and polished, accurate and mistake-free.
We guarantee it.
- The
server then notifies you. The
server sends an e-mail message to you with a notification that the
document is ready for retrieval. The message includes a link directly
to the document for easy downloading. Keep in mind that you can pick
up the document from anywhere, as long as you know your secure password.
If you used a credit card for your account, your card is charged at
the time the job is completed. For established business accounts,
we provide semi-monthly billing on account. (For high-volume clients,
we have developed private portals from their document processing pipelines
to our server. We can do the same for you, if necessary.)

of our suggestions, and compare them to your original document, and
apply only the suggestions you choose.

What
we do not do
We do
not process academic papers or college or graduate school entrance
essays. To do so would be highly unethical.
We do
not process documents that have been machine-translated from one
language to another. If a submitted document was written by someone
who is not a native speaker of the document's language, we reserve the
right to charge for the job at our STYLE-level rates. See our price list for

Because of the nature
of our service engine, we generally do not provide fact-checking. Telephone
numbers and addresses are not verified, as a rule.
We do not proofread
work that is morally offensive. ProofreadNOW Management reserves
the right to determine what work submitted to our server is morally offensive.
